PathTraK™ assays measure changes in phospho-protein levels resulting from compound inhibition of upstream kinases in signaling pathways, enabling clients to:
-
Predict kinase efficacy and/or selectivity
-
Qualify lead candidates and reduce attrition rates
-
Assess therapeutic agents in a more biologically relevant physicological context
-
Utilize fully optimized assay systems and Bisource's phosphoELISA™ detection methodology; producing high quality, reliable results
Inhibition of VEGF Signaling in HUVECs
Primary HUVECs were treated with a specific MEK inhibitor prior to activation of the VEGF signaling pathway. Levels of Phospho- and Total ERK measured by ELISA. Percent of Control (POC) values calculated based on mean minimum (unstimulated HUVECs not treated with test compound) and mean maximum (VEGF-stimulated HUVECs not treated with test compound).
